Rear tugger strap for 2018 XC300
 

Hi,

I have bought a 2018 XC300 and I really want to add a rear tugger strap as they are one of the most useful additions to a bike I find!

I went to add one and I'm struggling to find a good location to mount the left side of the strap. I was going to loop it around the sub frame (on the left side) but the side plastic has a tongue that pushes in, kind of under the seat and when you pull on the strap it pulls the plastic out. The only location that really makes any sense is to the bolt that holds on the rear guard. The right side has a bolt holding on the plastic so thats an easy location to use. I guess i could cut a slot in the plastic but I would like to avoid that if poss.

What or how have others done this. There must be a good way?
