2019 ec300 crank bearing issue
 

Hey guys wondering if anyone has info for possible factory recall on crank bearings for 19 300. My bike has 97 hrs on it changed oil, never sunk it in water. After warm up yesterday it started making a noise in the crank case. I got home took stator cover off and the bolts that hold the starter gear on were loose with no loctite. I torqued them down and grabbed the staor it had a little play. I started it without the cover on and after about 45sec of warmup you could see and start hearing the crank move up and down as you would rev slightly. I only ran it to see if tightening those bolts would have been the issue. Any info helps thanks guys

Stator has play or the ROTOR has play? You wrote stator.

The whole stator moves with the crank.

Remove the ROTOR bolt and re torque and loctite. There has been cases of it being loose.

Aahh sorry yes the rotor. It makes horrible noise after almost a min of running. Ill try it.

I pulled the flywheel off and the crank bearing is deffinetly smoked ! Im ordering everything to rebuild and ill have it balanced up.
