2005 Gas Gas ec50 boy NEW
 

2005 GasGas ec50 boy. I bought this new 2 years ago. We've put maybe 1 hour on it. I can't seem to get it registered here in Commiefornia.

The bike is super cool. I put a pipe and silencer(w/spark arrestor)from a KTM 50sx on it. I have the stock pipe.

I also lowered the bike a couple of inches. Have the stock parts.

This bike has the same engine as the gasgas txt 50 boy

It is 49cc
Has a high and low range
A clutch lever, but also centrifugal clutch
Water cooled.
14" front wheel
12" rear wheel
F&R disc brakes
I've got about $1400 invested in it.

call oregon state and get an orv tab for riding, off road, they will mail it to you for $10 if you get caught tell them it has a tab and that most states reciprocate other state tabs. keep the title in oregon with someone you know

That's frickin' awesome :cool: , though it completely blows that you cannot get it registered...talk about a load of carp :mad:

What's the seat height? Our oldest is going to be 6 this June and I've been thinking about what comes next for him (currently on an Oset). He's been on a CRF50 and it's tippy toes, not to mention he's not used to the difference between gas and electric...lol.

Seat height is about 24"
I gave it to him for his 6th birthday(xmas 2013) He could touch then.
he is 48.5" tall now(7yo).
His other bike that he got when he was 4 is a KTM mini. He started with training wheels and after a few rides and when he could touch on his toes on both sides I took the training wheels off.

2014 wasn't a good riding year for us as I was too busy working and we only went on one ride. I couldn't get the gasgas registered in time so he rode his KTM.
I've had multiple trips to DMV and CHP. Thought is was eventually going to work out but so far it hasn't.

I have sent a message into GasGas NA and I'm trying to see if they can help me.
Another option is to get another ~49cc engine with a serial number and try the DMV again.

I think I'm going to give the registration process some more effort.

Back for sale. Now has 5 or 6 hours on it.
Son is ready for a 65cc
