How do I remove stator cover? (4-stroke)

I need to replaced pulsar sensor coil, which I already have in possession. How do I get the damn stator cover (left) off? I removed starter, removed small cover bolts and then removed the big nut holding it on.

Do I need a flywheel puller? Because I also tried ordering a 27 and a 28 mm external thread flywheel puller and no dice, neither of them fit. The 27 mm was too small and the 28 mm was the internal threaded one. I can't find a 29 mm external thread. Some guidance is much appreciated.

does the exploded view help?

No that diagram is not the same as mine. My left side cover has a threaded innner area. I'll try to take a pic tonight.

by stator cover do you mean the flywheel? yes you will need a flywheel puller for that, I believe that motor started life as a Suzuki DR-z so take a look for the specs of the DRZ flywheel puller.

I measured and it appears to be 29 mm with a 1.5 mm pitch. I cannot seem to find anything doing multiple keyword searches on Amazon and fleabay.

See pics attached.

looking at the exploded view (pg72) it looks like a big cover, so you may not have all the bolt off, i also see some dowels, I have had problems with those previously where they corrode and seize

I'm 99% sure I have everything unbolted. I've tapped on it with a mallet for a while and no movement. I just ordered an external thread flywheel remover kit and it looks like it might have the one I need to push it off.
