Knobby tire finally evolves.

Check out this jewel. Would not last a day in our rooted up trails.

huh

Gotta say its ugly & cool looking. You'd draw some attention with that baby
Like to see some real world reviews
looks to me like youd get better traction reversing it
Now I want one dont know why but i do

It looks so ATV/UTV ish.

It looks surprisingly like the rear tires we had on our 1956 John Deere Model M. I would like to read/hear real world (mud, roots, loose gravel, hard pack) reviews as well.

Looks like it would clear itself pretty well. How long it would last on some hard pack/rocks would be another story. Those side lugs look quite vunerable.

Golden Tyre?

This reminds me of a similar tread pattern Yokohoma had on their Geolander 4x4 tyres. I ran them on my Willys Jeep and they were excellent at clearing mud. Overall performance was really good IMO.
Interesting to see how this performs on a bike..

Those lugs look like they cover way to much area to really bite into rocky and root sections. I think you'd be washing out all over the place with the slightest bit of moisture

By the look of it, I would think it is a pretty heavy tire...

It's called a Colossus Bandit, made in Italy but I can't find it anywhere...

A zealous endorsement from the Italian companies? website:

?New Colossus Bandit for application in motocross opens a new frontier in the development of off-road sport. A tire fully formulated with the latest technology to overcome the outdated designs cross. The Colossus Bandit has great visual impact, 20 mm grooves with high capacity self-cleaning mud and run smoother on firm stretches, improving performance in wagons and on soft soils. Our tests on prototypes showed a gain of up to 20% acceleration and speed on firm, high traction mud terrain in places.?
