How to drain Pampera coolant
Hi,
Unlike the EC, there's no Service manual on-line for the Pampera 250 2-stroke (mine's a 2002 mk3). So, please can someone tell me how to drain the coolant ? The EC has a drain hole on the pump-cover, but the Pampera doesn't. Do I take the whole water pump cover off ? This seems logical, but I don't recall doing this before (it's been a loooong while, as the bike wasn't used for years) and I'm nervous about needing a new rubber seal for the cover as Pampera spares are not easy to get these days. Thanks for any help, Mike in the UK |
Instead of disturbing the cover, what about removing the lowest rad hose connection and leaning the bike over to get the coolant out?

The Pampera has a trials motor. I just looked at my 01 TXT 280 and it is a Phillips screw just behind the front bolt on the cover.
Can you post a pic. ? |
Those connections are crimped on, one-time use. Best left alone...

The Pampera pump cover has 2 allen key bolts. Nothing else. I guess I just remove it...
