A couple of things I noticed riding my 2011 EC300
 

The e-starter sometimes squeals like a stuck pig, but that seems to go along with the squealing clutch. Not sure if either or both of these are normal. I have a Rekluse Core EXP which is funny, they said that some people try using the Rekluse to quite the stock clutch. Not sure what to do about the e-starter, may take it apart and make sure that it is lubed correctly and not in a bind - seems to have started squealing after getting hot. I need to let my dealer know not to over tighten the side case, it was so snug that I couldn't work the kick-starter. loosened them up 1/4 turn and that seems to have fixed that.

Any thoughts on the squealing bits would be appreciated.

On the upside, I don't think that I have EVER been though sand whoops quite so fast :)

I have a 2011 ec 300 e-start , I also have clutch squeel especially under load , does anyone know whats up with this?

I have the exp in my 11 300 and I have never heard the clutch squeal at all.

I am starting to get comfortable on my GG but the one place I am still much faster on my KTM is large sand whoops.

Is that jeff that had the ktm 450sx that got stuck with a dead battery helping me out in the gully at one of the STORM races? Just asking, I heard he just got a 300?

my solution to clutch squeal (only under serious abuse!) was to fit a 12 front sprocket. Still top 120+ km/h but bottom is just that little bit easier in the tech stuff.

Now need to sort out the jetting, definitely a little rich

It seems the theme is to drill more holes. I wonder if this would work on the Rekluse, more importantly I would if this would cause issues with the Rekluse?

Where are you located and who did you buy your bike from? Are you close enough to let him the change the clutch out on your bike with a new one? I would like to have your old clutch to see if we can figure out the problem.

Yes it is me! Actually that was my 505xcf but who's counting? I hope you like it and get it figured out.

You should come out and ride some TXORR races. It would be nice to have more gassers there.
