I love swap meets!

For the second year in a row I've scored a NEW Michelin S-12 at my local snowmobile swap meet. Last year $35 for one and this year $30 for this one. The guy also threw in a steel Michelin advertising sign too.

Is anyone else a fan of hitting up swap meets for deals?

Did you go to Princeton or Haydays? I like to get to both of them but just Haydays this year. It seemed expensive to me; $20 for admission and $8 to park my van & trailer. Probably won't go to Haydays next year, they seem to be a victim of their own success. High prices on common equipment/ machines but something out of the ordinary is usually cheap. This year I bought a "new in the plastic" Acerbis YZ250f frt. fender and used seat (in new condition) for $25. In the past, I got new Rad. shrouds for my KDX for $15. I think a lot of the really good/ cheap deals are made on Fri. eve between the swappers before the gates open Sat. am. In the spring the LeSuer antique power show and swap meet( Minnesota) is a good one to hit. This spring I picked up a used air comp.,15 gal. tank, 5cfm @ 90psi for $10 at LeSeuer. Last year at Princeton someone had a Husky 500 Auto, seemed to be in reasonably good shape, priced around $800. I guess I don't mind walking around and thru all the junk to find something decent. Yamaha had a nice display complete w/dirt and street bikes at Haydays.

Both of my tires have come from the Douglas swap. I'm into vintage Ski-Doo sleds so I also hit up the Princeton swap. I use to always do Hay Days until getting back into dirt biking and the Theilman trail ride is also that weekend. So Hay Days has gotten the boot. Have you done the Theilman ride?

I haven't done the Thielman trail ride, usually I head for the Grand Rapids area for my own trail ride or I'm at a swap meet.
