06 Zokki, wich setup was used?

i own a 13 300e with the 45mm marzocchi fork and am not very happy with it. i tried a standard 06 gg 300 and was amazed about the 45mm marrzocchi fork, was very smooth and ate everything up. wish my fork would work the same. does anyone know the standard setup from that fork?

Have a look at this thread, Tom. I am just going over my 45 zokes at the moment and found this very useful. There are also several other threads detailing these forks from back in the day. See here for starters on some base specs: (however, be aware the standard specs seemed to change year to year as shown in the link below, but it should give you an idea)

I am not sure whether the 06 zokes you rode were standard or not, as all the old threads suggest ways they can be improved, main points being, more high speed rebound damping, reduction in excessive free bleed (both rebound and compression), changing the multi-stage base valve stacks to simpler single stage, and lowering oil height among others.

I am by no means an expert and have yet to try some of the changes, but most of the old threads describe similar changes. In terms of the changes though, i guess it always come back to how and where you ride, and just what you want your suspension to do for you in those situations.
