'01 Doma pipe won't fit the '03?
 

For U knowledgeable guys out there. I have a '03 ec250, and want to buy a Doma pipe from a guy who has it on a '01 xc300. He said that the fit had changed when the '03's came out.
Please could I get a yea or nay on this? I would really like to have it if it fits. Thanks, Bob.

I think he's mistaken. I believe that pipe will fit up to '06.

I think he's right. But it will fit with a little mod/fab work.

Is it just a matter of the brackets not lining up, or a bad fit to the cylinder and or the power core 2? A fabricator I am not. Thanks.

In '03 they tipped the motor forward slightly in the frame - hence the '01 doma will not fit on the '03 without some modification.

I could be interested in that pipe if you can't use it. I have an 02 EC300. :D

Man, I really kick myself for not jumping on that pipe that Roscoe offered for just $100. Brand new too. I need a thicker bodied pipe, 'cause I've already dented and crimped the fatty that came with the bike. Luckily I got another one with it with just a kink at the cylinder end. But it won't be long till it's crushed.

Do it,, the 01 messico fit on my 03 better than the 03 pipe did. It's worth trying!!

pacific crest pipe repair fixed my smooshed pipe. the pipe I sent it out on wed afternoon, friday morning it was back looked great!
