Hello,
This is the front caliper off my 2007 Ec300.

I have haven't seen this set up before!!

Had a chat with Gas Gas Uk and they had never seen one like this !

You been riding in the salt pits?
XR400 caliper is the same but use std mount. Pins are replaceable.

Bike has had a hard life, undergoing a full rebuild at present. New pins ,pads etc .

I have never this piston style set up before.

Brakes worked well - I din't hit anything !!

Had the same on my mates 2006 200 front caliper.

Pistons are made of plastic with the metal caps.

One of his was scored and weeped fluid under pressure. Popped it out and replaced with a metal piston 22 or 25mm iirc
