GasGas newb here....

hello to all.
i'm the guy that bought piperpilot's 06 ec250.
ive been riding for almost 6 years. i started later in life, at 40. i started out trail riding in the dez and hills of southern california. ive been thru an evolution of bikes, just sampling whats out there. currently i mainly ride mx tracks on a rm250, but i want to get back to the tight technical stuff i started out on and really like.
i havent ridden the bike yet. i went thru it checking jetting and suspension, sag and lubrication. its ready to go and looks great. sunday im going to some sss to break it in.
after doing some reading on here i'm a little concerned about registering the bike. i will find out this week....
well i'm looking forward to sharing gasgas info with all.....

Hey Dirt Addict. I started riding about six years ago too. I'll be 60 next month. We ride mostly single track over here in eastern Washington. U scored on a beautiful bike from Piper Pilot. Since U already ride a 2t, your gonna love your ec250 for trail work. Good to have U aboard, and U found the right place for all your gasgas needs. Lot's of knowledgeable rider's and wrencher's here. Bob.

Welcome aboard fellow So-Cal GasGas rider. I am sure you will love
your new toy.
We are kind of GasGas junkies ourselfs.

The GF & I ride mostly trails and Trials in and around So. Cal. With a little
canyon hooliganizm thrown in for good measure.
Keep your fingers crossed at the DMV. A 2006 model more than likely will
be issued a "Red" OHV sticker. Which will limit the time of year you can
ride certain places. If you can some how change the model year to a 2002 or
so. A "Green" OHV sticker is a much better option.
Good luck and let us know how you like the bike.
Jeff So. Cal.

Just went back and looked at the "for sale" post and I see it already
has a "Green" sticker. Super Cool. I hope DMV lets you keep it!!!!
We are in the process of trying to get a street plate on one of the
Pamperas in the above picture. So far, it ain't looking good....
Cheers, Jeff
