Body armour

What body armour do you all wear? As mine is now rubbing the back of my neck raw now i'm standing up more!

I wear a Stern suit at the minute but the Thor Quadrant is looking good.

I wear on older EVS Ballistic that is about wore out. Next year it will need replaced.

This is it. It's at least 5-6 years old now, maybe older.

Try the Forcefield body Armour. Because its soft it doesn't rub. When I first used it it was bizarre, it was like rolling downhill wrapped in a duvet. I have never understood the argument for hard outer, soft inner armour. I'm not a turtle. I know it is supposed to spread the impact over a wider area, I think all it does is pass the impact to the joints.

Armour is a personal thing dependent on too many factors including ,faith and belief as well as knowledge. If you survive a fast tumbling fall, was it the armour or luck. What we need is someone to act as a test dummy. No not me.All they have to do is say 10 jumps off the bike at, say 60mph onto hard soil with boulders , then repeat with the different suits.

Never seen the Forcefield Body Armor -- Looks nice.

In regards to chest protector - I recently purchased the Leatt Chest Protector Adventure Lite. My reason for going with the Leatt is that this one works perfect with my Leatt neck brace!! It is very light and I like it as I can wear it over my jersey.

i am running the leatt combo also.. i like it very well.. i am a c1-c2 fracture survivor, so i always wear a brace...

on a side note, i had an evs cp and neck brace.. took a pretty good fall and broke the brace, they refunded 100%, but it was not a hard enough fall to break it imho, so i bought the leatt...

I wear knee guards. I have excellent knees(even at 44 yr old). Unless my doctor says mine are going bad(even slowly), I won't wear braces.

I wear knee/shin guards.

I have the new Troy Lee chest protector that I have added elbow guards to.
Its got good coverage front and back but also has the side protection. But lately I have not worn any body armor but was not competing. When I compete I wear it.

For my knees, I just wear the normal knee/shin guards.

CTi. Both knees. Unfortunately, after 3 reconstrucive surgeries per knee. I won't even get on the bike without them. Knee injuries SUCK.
