When I saw the 2018 EC range, I thought great a black pipe that only has a small catalytic converter in the end you can take out.

Well I was wrong. It still has the big one in the middle of the chamber.

They are great pipes for smacking into rocks as they are a bit thicker than the one on my GP.

A good tip is to cut the pipe 1/8 of an inch towards the left side of the big weld so the cat comes out easy. I cant weld for shit and the cable ties repair didn?t help.

And I don?t think it is high temp paint I touched it up with either.

Happy Days!

WTF? I've never seen a cat in a 2T before. I just assumed spooge would destroy it

What country are you in? I would not think a US spec bike would have that.

This is a Euro4 spec bike. They are delivered to Australia with the chrome pipe in the box and this pipe on the bike.

Obviously no one actually rides with it. But once cut up, they are a good spare.

In NZ we occasionally get the cat pipe apparently as same source I guess. My original pipe is bent at header so I've got the cat pipe. Rode it with cat and it felt like a bag of poo. Cut it open and chromed it. Sweet as now.

I have a meow pipe from a 17 in the shed.. waiting for the same treatment to replace my stock 13 pipe.. which suffers from the same problems as F5.. among other damage.

Looks like good work to me. Well done.

Uh, please don't post about Cat equipped dirt bikes. We don't want to give the USA greenies any ideas:(:)
