Wanted, airbox for 2002 gas gas TXT200

Gentlemen, I have a 2002 gas gas TXT200, it has the pro engine, but was the intermediate year between the non pro and the pro models, as such it had a pro engine but does not use the pro air filters/box, it uses a modified version of the non pro air box. Mine has developed a split (plastic has become hard and brittle) I contacted Jim Snell but he doesn?t have an air box, I was wondering if anyone on here had either a spare air box or an idea where I might get one. I can supply a picture of the air box if needed, the gas gas part number on the airbox appears to be wrong as it matches the non pro air box part number, but when you view the 2 parts side by side they are quite different despite having the same part numbers!!
Thanks for any help or suggestions

I saw this on ebay.

Thanks, but that is for the Pro model, has different mounting points and bodywork compared to my bike, so a lot of work and additional expense to make it work. Thanks for pointing it out.

Odd, I bought a TXT200 a ways back and the guy had an '00 and an 02 as emblazoned on the side. They both appeared identical so I bought the 00 as it was as spendy as I could go.

Can you perhaps get the old one plastic welded?

I do remember the side mounting lid was a pain. There were two pillars to thread lid bolts on but they spun. I drilled a hole in each (well back from the filter foam,) and threaded some fencing wire through so they were both locked to each other.

Thanks for the suggestions, I found a breaker in the UK that has the correct airbox, so have purchased that, I will hold onto mine and see if it can be welded, but I suspect the plastic is becoming old, dry and brittle and will continue to split no matter what I do to it!!
