Updating hyd clutch AJP to Magura???

I'd like to swap out the AJP clutch master on my 99 EC300 for a Magura master.
They both have what appears to be the same size banjo connection on the slave cylinder. But the AJP uses DOT3 brake fluid and the Mag uses mineral oil. Can I run the AJP slave with the Mag master if I flush all the brake fluid out and fill with mineral oil???

I already have the Mag master on hand and the AJP master has seen better days so this would be a $0 project for me if I don't need to buy a new slave.

Thanks!!!

The mineral oil will eat the seals in the slave cylinder. You will no longer have the butter smooth pull of the AJP

You can rebuild the slave cylinder with mineral oil compatible seals.

The AJP is nice. I have thought about swapping the Magura on my 2013 with the AJP from my 2003.

I have ridden bikes with Maguras and was NOT impressed at all

if the bore sizes are different between the two, the clutch feel/action will also change.
the larger bore means it becomes more 'on/off switch like' so it effects the feel and progressiveness, and the pull gets harder.

I know this doesn't do you any good Boardrider but I switched from an AJP to a Brembo that came off a KTM 250/300 and it was an easy swap. They both use brake fluid.

I used both the line and the master. Bolted right up.

I switched because I could never get the AJP to fully disengage. I bled it, rebuilt it and after fooling with it for a couple years gave up on it. The Brembo worked like a champ after a simple bleed.

Having had lots of KTM's over the years, I concur with DWreck: Brembo is a better option than Magura.

Obviously, any other swap other than to the Magura unit the OP has on hand would defeat the 0$ aspect of the swap.

Do you know the bore size of the Brembo you used? My AJP isn't great and I'm looking to replace it.
