TOP CLASS FIRST POST! (although you have already upset me by making me jealous! lol)

are you "the Jason Bunyan" of Speedway Fame?

where about in NZ is that?

PS i can see you don't want to keep that new bike look for very long

The ruts make that a real workout. I guarantee I'd have taken the trials bike instead!

fame... haha, more a cool job being able to ride all the time. the ride was in waiouru army camp, middle of the north island new zealand. its held each year over 3 days. i try look after my kit... i didnt mean to throw it but got happy on the clutch, revs ,weight.... and as for using a trials bike.... you can but theres over 290? km of marked trails, the gg di 320kms over the weekend. cheers for the comments guys.

That looks like one heck of a hill!!! It is a good thing you were there to help out that ktm. ;-)

Awesome hill.. strange about the ktm.. he had a tubliss and michelin with about 5 psi so he should have cruised up it. I had a 5 hr old 6 day extreme with tube and about 8 psi and it worked ok.

Tough hill! Well done. How's the dirt?! Looks edible..

Fame is fame it’s just sometimes the circles are not so big

I am a few months from moving to nz and while I promised myself to base my decision to move not on biking ... I am so happy to see it still going to be part of my life

Bunyanator 04-08-2018 03:13 AM

That dirts more clay.. up near taupo its all pumice so pretty amazing.
As for the move to nz youll love it. So much riding of pretty much any discipline you like.. from trail rides. Enduro or the big adventure stuff. Find a good gang to ride with and get all the jobs at home done so you get plenty of weekend passes..
