Plastic fitment 18 vs 19
 

They claim the 2019 has better fitting plastics over the air box. I?m wondering if it is the plastics themselves that have changed or the mounts on the bike. For example can I buy an air box panel for a 2019 and put it on my 2018 and will it be a better fit?

It's just an extra plastic tab in to rhs corner of air box side plate to stop it coming off so easy during a crash. You will need the rear fender also to do the update.

The only difference is an additonal tiny tab on the fender that holds the air filter cover much better.
The problem is that old and new version have the same part number and once you order a new rear fender you will get the old version without the tab as they have them still in stock. Dont ask me why I know ...
