2018 GasGas XC300 Flywheel Weight

Id like to run a heavier Fly wheel on my 2018 XC 300... I have searched and searched and not found anyone making one yet. Has anyone had any luck with sourcing a flywheel for a 2018 model?

For non electric starter models it is simple. Have machined one for my 2011:

For electric starter models, there a gear attached where flyweel weight should be. The solution I see is make another heavier gear.

EC flywheel is heavier

I dont think it is? I havent seen any official material that says the XC has a lighter FW.

The 2018 EC and XC use the same flywheel from what I can find. They do both have the same part numbers so I think that is the case.

From what I can see, the only differences are the lights and expansion chamber.

I'd like to make this easy by purchasing a part and slapping it in before I commit to the down time of making something custom... but if I don't find an option in the next couple weeks I'll be tearing it down and figuring out a solution.

Adjust the power valve , see if it helps.

I adjusted it already. Still would like to do a heavier flywheel. I put a heavier flywheel in my 2011 GG and had awesome results in single track riding.

Stealthy off-road is in the process of getting a '18 to make a flywheel weight for them, just called them today an had them put me on a call list when it's ready.

Great news! I called them about three weeks ago and was told they didn't offer it and had no plans of doing so.... I'm glad to hear they have changed their tune
