EC300 Dim Electrics Question

Hi,
I'm new to the forum, and have recently bought an EC300 (2000). I am enjoying it alot, very raw and lots of fun if you aren't going too far!

Anyway, the previous owner told me the electrics needed some work and after studying the diagrams on here, I found some faults in the wiring and now have a back light, brake light and headlight......however......they seem brightish when I first start the bike (not really very bright) and after a few minutes riding go very dim (just lighting the bulb)....I thought it might be Voltage Regulator? Any members have any suggestions? If you thing it might be Voltage Reg, does anyone know the part number for a UK supplier or an alternative part (KDX? etc)
Regards
Roger

A generic AC regulator like the Moose part works fine.

in the UK contact either dave at biketech or GG UK or ring west country windings for the readings it should be from the volt reg, make sure that the yellow wire is connected from your stator and the white wire isnt connected to anything that was my problem when i had dim lights
