2002 Sm50 Parts Crossover

I have a 2002 Gasgas Sm 50 that is giving me a hard time finding a crankshaft assembly I have been doing some research and found that the motor is a Franco Morini motor witch is made in Italy it looks very similar to the Ktm 65 engine does anyone know if I would be able to use the crankshaft out of a KTM 65 or any other bikes that share the same motor,or where I could find a crankshaft I am also having a hard time finding a repair manual or service manual any help would be great!

herdan corp has all the franco morini parts.
as does http://www.morinifrancousa.com/models.htm (you can go here and identify it - i'm betting it's an s6 motor)

I have been looking for a source of 70-80cc big bore kit for quite
some time.
Let us know what you find.

It's definitely the Gasgas motor not the Derbi motor I have called and talked to several people including Jim Snell from rising sun he told me to contact Herdan.com witch is a Franco Morini importer as well as Morini Franco USA and still have had no luck I guess its almost impossible to find a source of parts and knowledge for this particular motor

If you read French I found a couple of forums that mention
the SM50 GasGas.
You might try these folks.

They seem to stock some odd Euro bike parts and they may be able to
find what you are looking for.
I plan to check with them one of these days myself.

I went to treetland.tv and called the phone number they said they have no parts for the gasgas Franco Morini motor

I'm thinking that it will be a lot easier to just install another motor I've been looking at the KTM 65cc engine has anyone tried to fabricate a motor to fit into the chassis any recommendations on what motor would be the best fit
