Cheap stuff
 

Cleaned my '19 EC300 again today and noticed that the bolts holding the lower rear mudguard are going rusty :( The rest of the bolts(that I've seen are fine).....maybe there's more? Surely Gasgas can afford coating for all the bolts?

Or maybe that's the difference between a kick start or no kick start(I'll keep the kick start and coat my own bolts) :D

I do my own cold zincing so I'll get them coated soon enough :cool: Are there anymore bolts that you guys have seen that aren't coated?

Gotta remember those poor bolts cop a good sand and rock blasting every ride! 😆

I've only ridden it twice brother :D I'll coat them and see how many rides it lasts:cool:

I semi-resto'd this old turder a couple of years ago and it's been out a shit ton more than twice, and the bolts I zinced still appear to be doing what anodes do best........ :)

Rear fender mounts UNDER the seat are rusting on mine ahaha

I fond most bikes don't have coated bolts.

I have a stock of.stainless stuff that I replace with ad needed.

I coated'em with zinc, I'll keep an eye on them and see how long they last :)
