GP 300/18 Wheels

Can anyone please tell me if the wheels between EC 300 from 2010 up to 2018 are interchangeable.

My dealer says the new 2018's have different rims so that those of former models wont fit. At EnduroPuro in Italy they sell a wheel set saying it fits all EC 300's from 2014. I am confused... :o

If memory serves me right, the wheels are compatible, but there is a little thing that must be changed. However, I don't remember what.
My Norwegian importer used older wheels on his 2018 demobike last winter. I seem to remember that he said something had to be changed, perhaps the spacers.

Sorry that I can't be more spcific.

Front wheel is the same. Rear wheel is different. The hub is narrower on the new bikes. Some guys run them anyway but it squeezes the swing arm and puts it in a bind. I suppose you could have spacers made if you really wanted to

When swapping wheels you also have to think about the dimension from sprocket to rotor. All this stuff needs to line up.

Factory manuel lists completely different parts numbers for the front and rear hubs on the newer bikes(2014- 2019) compared to the earlier years (99-2013).

Thank you guys for your help, most appreciated. Seems I'll go the expensive way and just buy a set of OEM rims.

Yep, that's what I have been told from my dealer and thats why I was confused that the Italians sell a set of rims saying fits GG 300 from 2010-

Cheers
