Pivot Pegs

Is there anybody out there that is using a set of pivot pegs? I am looking at them and trying to justify them. They look like they are the Shiznit.

Wicitup,
I don't have any on my current bike, but I will as soon as I scrape up the cash. I bought the Power pegz which are the same thing only don't spring back to center. I guess the spring isn't that great on the pivot pegz. I had the power pegs on my last bike and loved them. I sold that bike to my friend and now he's addicted to them also.

I use them on my bike and really like them. I think I have broken 1 spring but that was before they improved it. I always have a full rebuild kit on hand to to be safe.

Took no time to adapt to them and if your tall you may like them even more since your knee and ankle angles are tighter and these make it more comfy and less tiring. After using these Pivot Pegs I got on my buddies bike with the Fastway pegs and just hated those. Couldn't get my boot from catching from the front edge of his pegs.

The one thing I found is they pack with mud easier but not to the point of being a problem. Build quality is beautiful also. I got mine through Marty at Brap Off Road. Super nice guy to deal with.

I like them, definitely more comfortable and secure

gasgasman and myself have them and to me they are a must have. I really like them because I have bad knees and the pegs really make a big difference in whoop sections. They build confidence to.

Robby,

Does the right side pivot peg clear the brake pedal when it folds up?

iancp5 02-10-2008 04:11 PM

Does on mine. However, the left needs a bit of work with a grinder to clear the sidestand mount on my 03

Like Girard, I had to bust out the dremel tool and cut it a bit.

Thats the norm even for the stockers. As long as there is enough material to grind without compromising strength.

I have taken a soil sample several times on the right side and it did not damage the pegs or break anything.

I even saw Girard take a good soil sample on Saturday and his did not break.

I really think you would like them Glenn.
