Gas gas ec 300 rattle noise
 

Hello guys , I have a very disturbing noise on my gg300 especially when it's cold , I got my PV freeplay fixed , what could still rattle inside the engine ?

These things can be incredibly difficult to pin point without hearing it in person...

But do you hear it at idle? When you rev it in neutral? When it's in gear with the clutch pulled in? While riding? Need some more info...

bent exhaust? Exhaust o-rings worn?

Yeah put you foot on the header and see if that helps.

They aren't the quietest bikes. I water earplugs and it sounds terrific when thrashed.

If it's only while riding then probably chain slap on the swingarm slider.
Many have been befuddled by that.

Just TiG weld the stud back on.

I had a rattle that turned out to be the stiffener brace from the head to the frame was snapped in half

I will try to upload a video , dunno how much it will help ,I repair bikes and vehicles so you can imagine how annoying this is for me

Yeah that's secondary vibration. Push your foot on the pipe and see if it quells it. A mate had radiator braces that touched the pipe and sounded just like that. My pipe guard clamp stripped and I fixed it just after last ride. Can get rattly up the manifold.
