Newbie needing UK dealer support/2011 conversion kit.

Well I am hooked, recentley purchased a 2005 ec300 over a 2012 ktm 300 (what a disaster that would have been) and saved ?1500 for a bike I think is twice as good for the money. Rode it for the first time yesterday and had a great time. I am 54 and 100kg and would class myself as a mid pack plodder.I havnt done enduro before and didnt want to part with too much money if I didnt enjoy it.I spent ?1500 on a bike which I think is going to do everything I need and more, it turns, starts easily, has tons of low down power plus gets a fair old clip on if needed. Well now I know ive made the right move I want to freshen her up a bit and have seen the 2011 upgrade kit people do. I am in the uk and was wondering about dealer support/parts supply. Can someone tell me the best place to get the kit. thanks mark in leicester.

Everything you need can be found on here, best place to get it all from.

Do a search here on the forum there are lots of threads on what you need and how to do it.

Biketech and Steve Plain have a lot of experience with the EC over the years and normally have things in stock.

Although the recent plastics look a lot better, those I've seen close up did seem to be a lot less substantial than the older ones and some of the newer seats less comfortable.

I get most of my spares from here- http://www.gasgasuk.com/ . I've used The motocross center before and found them easy to deal with, and cheaper than UK dealers.
