Fork oil level in 45 zokes 2011 300 ?
 
whats the oil level suppose to be at in each fork ? changing my seal and dont know the correct oil level. thanks alot

I run mine at 105mm, spring out. This equates to 540ml in each leg. If you do a search you should be able to find quite a few posts on this. From memory, my level is a little higher than most. It works fine for me - I am 75kg, stock springs. The oil height affects "bottoming out" characteristics.

When the bike is properly sprung (and revalved, especially in the case of the 45mm Zokes) a better number might be 130mm, with 7.5wt oil filling the legs.

That is what I run. The 7.5W oil is critical in those forks IMO.

Really, i have been running 5, maybe i will try some 7.5 and see how it works. have to find some, local shops only carry 5.

You may have to blend some of your own ... almost every shelf brand is offered in 5 and 10 wt.

Spectro 125/150 Cartridge Fork Fluid works fine. Weight is a poor way to compare oils, better to use the viscosity charts. The Spectro is the same as mixing 5 and 10 W Honda oils, which I used to do when there was a Honda dealer in town.
