Wow, two Pennsylvania ECEA events! There was initially a question of who would get it for '13 but I see it has been answered.

Kinda glad we get the muddobbers back to our selves.
Cheaper to sign up and wont have to ride trail after 315 people have blown it out.

I hear you on that and agree. I've ridden the Rattlesnake for a long time but in the back this year, after a big rain, as a national was much less fun.

I was on row 82 yesterday! The muddy holes weren't as bad as I'd been led to believe but some of the climbs out were full-on nasty. A touch less rain and it may have been perfect.

Awesome that they're bringing back the Black Coal in Lynnville at round 9. We used to race this one all the time when we were younger. Back in the day when John Martin was killing it on a Can Am.

Of course living close by helps me out too. Only about an hour from me.

Me, my bro and dad are taking on cutting a section for next years black coal. If you like technical trail id sign up for this one. We are gonna have any kind of terrain you can think of in 6 sections, natural hardwoods, strip mine hills ridges and valleys, locust thickets, etc etc. its going to be good.

I cant wait to get back to the Black Coal. I havent kept many trophies over the years but my 1977 Black Coal is still on display. Good times.
