Ec 200, 2006

When i rev it, on slow down it feels like a gyroscopic force is pulling the bike to the right. Only slightly but has anyone got any idea's what could be happening?
Sorry for being so vague but i just noticed it today. Is it the bottom end?

Is your rear wheel in alignment? :p

Could you elaborate on the pulling and is it only on decel? How about when pulling away from a stand still? Any noises or vibrations?

Could be loose or off axis parts within the primary drive. Most probably the clutch, but I would think it would have to be pretty off balance to give a noticeable gyro effect, given its not very large and isn't very heavy (in relation to the rest of the bike). Also, if it was that far off axis, it would probably be banging into things and making horrible noises, and grinding up bits of metal into the oil too.

More likely is wheels which aren't true.

Do your friends notice the same thing when they ride your bike?

Cheers for the replies guys. When i'm reving it, it's on the side stand not rolling! Perhaps i'm just being paranoid as i'm racing at a bogey track for me this month. I also thought it wasn't carbing properly so stripped it all out and cleaned it!

It only feels like a little pull to the right on decel. I have just changed the oil no nasties in there!
