Winter jetting

Well we have about 6 or 8 inches of snow right now. So i am going to stud my tires and let her rip.

Right now my jetting is a little rich for warmer weather.

So will the cold winter air make me run rich or lean?

THANKS!!!

colder temps will lean your bike out

I'm certain if you google "jetting temperature chart" you'll find several links to conversion charts. Keep in mind that baseline jetting is usually for 70 degrees F at sea level.

From experience when the outside temp drops below 50F I go up one size on the main from baseline. Below 30F I go up two sizes on the main from baseline. Below 10F it's just too damn cold to go riding. Never had to change the pilot, but I do turn the air screw in.

Thanks. I already have an almost lean pilot. But the rest is rich so that will be fine.
