2014 ec300r suspension setup for 230lbser
Hey Guys
This is my first post. Picked up a new to me bike a couple of weeks ago. I have close to 10hrs on it. Getting things dialed in. But I?m have trouble finding springs and recommend rates. Can anyone recommend a good spring rate to swap in for my weight and where to source them in Canada. I?m about 230lbs with no gear and I?m not a stupidly aggressive rider. The bike has Marzocchi 48 forks and the Reiger rear shock. Thanks Joe |
No info at all?

There is a list of reccomend spring rates in your user's manual. You can find it at the Gasgas website.
I'm at the Phone at the moment so unable to give you a link. |
Yea I have the manual. It only goes up to 95kg. Which I guess is probably close.
And where do you get the springs from?? Joe |
I bought the rear spring directly from Reiger. Very friendly people, not expensive either. I think I payed 80 euro. Plus tax.

Cool thanks for the tip on but direct from Reiger

On the other hand, other springs may fit. I posted the dimensions of Reiger springs in another thread a week or two ago. If you have KYB or Showa springs available, you could check. I think Racetech has spring dimensions on their website.

I had a KYB spring on my Reiger shock. At 230lvs you will need a 6.4 or 6.5kg rear spring and .48 or .50 fork springs. I recommend going to FB and looking up Richard Wilson on one of the GG pages. He makes springs just for GG.
