EC300 new piston issue
Hello
i've got metered my cylinder - 72,05mm. Limit for it 72,1mm as manual says. BUT biggest piston size will have 71,95mm what will give 0,1 mm clearance - and it is out of limit as manual says! What should i do in this case? |
I just took a look on ebay, and saw Wossner pistons in 72.01 and 72.02 sizes if that helps
|
72.01 will be perfect! Can you provide link? Are some one using them? Is this original piston?
|
Try wiseco ,they're only one size .I belive they are 72,00 .

$197.99 + $46.50 for shipping = sounds a little bit crazy
Thank you for link |
Well, it was only an example that the size is available. Wossner is about the best Piston you can put in your gasser, should be available from many locations. Perhaps a better price can be found.

OK, thx, i understand.
But how can you tell that it fits? Diameter is ok, but how about piston pin to top distance? |
Wossner makes these for our Gasgas bikes, no need to worry about that.
Here is their website, so you can look up fitment for your specific bike, and then chose diameter. I believe they offer A through D sizing. Once you have the part number you can search for a vendor anywhere you want. |
My 250 uses a ktm piston.
