2018 recall for flywheel raplacement?
 

I have done all of the updates in order to fix my starter problem including a 240 CCA battery. I read on another forum where someone had an invoice to replace the flywheel and they claimed all of the parts and labor were free of charge. This flywheel update causes the spark plug to fire at a different point, thus making the bike start much easier.

Does anyone know about this update? I have not been able to find any info on it anywhere else but this person attached a picture of the paperwork from the dealer and it has "magneto replacement" right there with the reflash of the CDI

Talk to your dealer, it is all under warrantee.

They will replace the flywheel and flash the ignition for free, or organise to get it done for you, no questions asked.

I had the reflash and the battery cables done on the bike pre-sale.

First I heard of a flywheel swap.

Is the flywheel a more recent warranty item? I bought mine last August, had talked to reps and dealers about the updates and read the tech bulletins. This is the first time I have heard about the fly wheel.
