Fuel mileage loss after pipe change

I had an HOH silencer that unfortunately broke, so I put back on the stock FMF Q and immediately my fuel mileage has suffered with no other changes. I would have thought the opposite.

Anyone have insight?

Richer jetting for the HOH pipe that is now richer than needed for the flow rate of the Q? Have you repacked the Q to be sure it is working properly?

I thought of this and it is richer in the middle. But even if richer, how is it using more fuel?

Kind of bizzare. The Q is brand new.
