EC 200 - No power? Tried everything

I havea 2002 ec 200. It has very weak power, any 125cc mx is noticable faster + more powerful.

Ive tried everything. had full engine striped + rebuilt, new piston + rings, nain bearings, crank seals, gaskets etc. carb rebuilt, jetting set.

Wont idle either, idle + sir screw have no affect.

Anyone had a similar issue? Could the packing in the silencer be too soaked with 2 stroke?

Please help, will be selling it on othwrwise!

Well repack muffler, core can collapse.

Has it got the black Cat pipe on it? Won't run worth a dam if so.

Read jetting thread. Needle replacement to something else (i used LTR kit in mine back in the day) will allow it go idle and not gurgle at low throttle.

Hi running a fmf gnarly at front + a fmf powercore 2 silencer.
Will try running it with silencer off.

Jetting is at 40 pilot, 178 main, needle in middle clip. Plug is a brown coffee color - fairly dry.

Mix is at 110ml of 2 stroke to 5 litres of petrol.

What needle is it?

Double check the float setting too.

My 200 on the dyno did about 32hp, same dyno 125mx did the same but the 200 of course had a wider spread.

Take the cover off the powervalve and observe it moving fully as you rev the bike.
