Hyde Racing pipe/skid guard for 2017 (or equivalent) EC250?

So, has anyone tried the Hyde Racing combo guard on a 2017 (or equivalent)? The guy at Hyde said he wasn't sure as what he has said it fits 10-13. Said he would inquire to the people in South Africa. Doesn't do much GG here.

Hall's, who have always been very helpful, suggested the ELine. I've seen mixed reviews. Hall's said if the Hyde was based off a 13 that there has been changes to the frame so he wasn't sure. They recommended the ELine. Said, yeah, you can spend like right more for a P3 but the difference was marginal. Trying to be cost efficient as well but always like the Hyde stuff but totally unsure of fitment.

I doubt hyde will have a 17 specific guard as the 17s were never available in South Africa.
that being said the guards were always a bad fit so a 13 may fit on a 17 better than it fitted on the 13 lol

My personal preference is a carbon fibre exhaust guard (i had a p3 take a bashing for 8 years of rocks much better than the hyde took for a year) and then a decent skid plate the hyde one was not bad but preferred the AXP one and i think the TM designs would be the top choice

I have a that combo for my 2014 300 EC to be installed. If I recall correctly, there was some minor mods to make it work as a friend lined one up on his 2013 and said some minor trimming was needed here and there. If you got some time, I can get you a definitive answer but I seem to remember my initial look was that it would work out...

I have a Hyde on my 2014, bolted on with no real issue. Absolutely LOVE it, but it does collect leaves and branches. Nothing will protect the pipe like a pipe guard / skid plate combo.

These pics were taken this spring, 3 years of rough abuse on the Hyde at that point. It was a little tricky to get it shoved into position to thread in the frame clamps the first time, but I didn't have to cut or modify anything.
After years of having to replace bent pipes once a year with stand alone pipe guards, I love this. Still running the Gnarly I installed with the Hyde back in the spring of 16. I have only ever had to re-tighten a couple screws on the side wings.
