Riding the Cascade MT's of Washington

Thought I would share some of my Pics I have been collecting this summer from various spots I ride in the Cascade mountains. Its all High mountain so the season is relatively short, July through October. There are not many bikes in these pics as this thread is more about the beauty and epic single track we enjoy up here in the Pacific North West.

If your ever planing a trip here during the months I mentioned and are a solid rider with little fear of heights, look me up. If I'm not racing, I'm riding the high country, and I would surely be glad to show you around.

Oh and you can zoom in on the pics as they are only at 75% size.
Enjoy,
Roscoe

If I ever move to the states, it will be to the north west, would be just like home...:)

Beautiful pics! Those off camber switchbacks with ugly consequences (like pic#18) scare the crap out of me!

Thank you for sharing Roscoe:)

The scale of the scenery up there looks immense to the English eye, especially the views over the mountain ranges.

The trails look fun too. Fuel capacity must be very important that far from civilisation.

Thanks for sharing !

Cool Mike! We are running out of time though and my weekends are slammed except for 1 weekend I believe in October. I will look and get back to you!

That particular shot is in Teanaway. That area has many gnarly switches like that, some with big consequences, and yes the ones that are exposed make me nervous also. If it doesn't, a guy must have a screw loose! :D

Yes it is immense and the camera never really does it justice. We tend to pack extra fuel for extended range to get in the back country farther and still make it back to camp.
