Help! Gas tank rubber strap 2002 EC200 - hooks where?
 

My bike has never had the rubber strap at the rear of the gas tank. It just had a big zip tie around the tank. I bought a new strap and it is not apparent to me what it hooks to. Neither the IPL nor manual are helpful. I'm at a loss.

Sub frame mounts should have a "spacer" the straps hook on. If you need pics PM me your phone number.

That's right my 02 200 had little bobin like spacers. My later 300 just has this great big zip tie. It's as easy to be fair.
