Looking for a kick stand
I have a 2005 EC300 in need of a kickstand. I have searched everywhere with no luck any suggestions? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

These stands are in high demand. Yet no supply.

I just made one. I used 3/4" square tubing, the original top part out of the factory kickstand (mine was steel), and made my own camel toe bottom.
I put a couple of slight bends to make it tuck up properly and not interfere with the wheel travel. https://i.imgur.com/iVEwtzN.jpg Original top piece (had to cut and grind the welds on the original to get it free to re-use. https://i.imgur.com/XN9RZM9.jpg Dimpled the 3/4 tubing to key with the original mounting head. https://i.imgur.com/e8kfYE4.jpg My version of a camel toe, works great on soft surfaces. https://i.imgur.com/2MrZ5VP.jpg Welded on a bolt head to hold the spring. https://i.imgur.com/Hoi7H0v.jpg https://i.imgur.com/9goB9ww.jpg Maybe I'll paint it someday. But it has been on the bike for a couple of years now. Works great, was cheap and a hell of a lot stronger than the stock one. Doesn't hardly weigh more than the original. |
Nice work very impressive. I mis spoke in my post I just need the kick stand bracket part number BE250212023 I can't find one anywhere.

sorry can't help you there. But I bet you could fab your own up if you still have the original to work with. Is the one you have cracked? It can be welded. Just have to grind off the finish.

Yes the one I have know is cracked and pretty beat up. Allot of the materials is gone may be tough to weld but it may be my only option, I was hoping I could find someone who was parting one out I think the bracket I need is the same up the 2011's.

My kickstand 2004 Gas Gas EC 250

Here is a couple pictures of my kickstand. I bought a normal trail tech kickstand from online and fabricated a kickstand bracket. Sorry I do not have any closer images of my kickstand bracket. I will have to take some soon and post them for yall.
The kickstand bracket is made to fit on the bolt that holds the bottom chain roller and onto the side frame bold mount for the kickstand. The spring is pulled up onto the bolt for the sub frame mount with a tab that hangs out to grab it. |
