2012 EC250 e-start not starting on ze button!

As it says above guys, the solenoid is clicking but no joy. Kicks just fine though. Battery is in good nick, I pulled the solenoid connector block off & sprayed WD-40, she turned over & started, then next time on the button just the solenoid click. Any ideas? I hate intermittant problems!
