Here you go. Also the 2010 Beta's with the Zoke 45's have a new design base valve design as well. Maybe Marzocchi finally got the hint?

Attention Marzocchi Owners!
We have been hard at work developing a base valve for 45mm + 50mm Marzocchi Forks.

These kits are ready now! Call for more info.

Why? Are the OEM valves so bad they cannot be valved correctly? I don't think so, at least in my case. Perhaps they did not like the free bleed, but when comparing a GG Zoke to a Husky Zoke (no free bleed in comp piston) all who rode it preferded the GG fork with very similar valving.

If anything, make a rebound piston with no bleed.

Hi having my base valves done on monday using the this kit as my front on my 07 deflects badly ' The guy doing it races BMW 450 and they have shiver forks and he has already tried revalving another 07 gasser with the same deflect problem by changing the standard valve stack but said it only made a small improvement and has done a husky 300 with shiver 45's with this new kit and told me to it will fell like a total different bike so will post when i refit and ride thanks andrew

Ian really knows his stuff. The big plus is that he's a qualified racer in offroad and moto x. If you can articulate whats going on he will be able to provide whats needed in most cases first time around. I'm waiting for some 12 mm shims from him to re configure my 08 Beta's base valve, same stuff as above, just need some good weather to get the saddle time to break in the boingers.Tell him the bear sent ya.

Base valve mods address only part of the forks action, the mid valve also has a great deal of effect on how the fork works as well.
I spent some serious hours in my forks and finally got them working great.
I went with stiffer springs to get the forks to ride higher in the stroke, and valved the base a little softer, then added more float to the mid along with a softer mid face shim.
I then stiffened up the rebound stack to compesate for the stiffer springs and lowered the oil level to my liking.
I also adressed the rear with a stiffer spring and valving to balance the bike out.

IMHO, new pistons are not necessary...the stockers can be made to work, "unless" the are built to accept the more common shim size...for aiding the tuner with shims that are easier to get
