Howdy Rodent. Good to meet you yesterday. Did you manage to find the motivation today? How did they work?
|
Nah, went for a ride on the road bike with my brother......I did look at it though :)
|
I fitted my kit today, the blocks needed to be taken down a whisker as they were too tight in the swing arm(only slightly). The kit comes with an aluminium nut which I personally don't have a great deal of faith in, so I used a steel Yamaha nut mentioned in the thread below.
http://www.gasgasrider.org/forum/sho...86&postcount=8 All in all the kit is well made but by the time it's landed in Australia the price is a bit exy. https://i.postimg.cc/1tMbWZNv/20200215-184702-2183.jpg |
Bugger. I didnt put the locknuts on mine. Did you find instructions somewhere that suggested they need to be fitted?
I imagine that once the axle nut is tightened it should not move much at all (I hope). |
No instructions, I just rather that the threads weren't getting pounded should there be any movement :)

Why's your bike so clean rodent?!;)
