I read an article once that explained how pain in different parts of your hand had to do with sweep and how the bars were rolled too far forward or backward. should have saved it. I've been up and down with the gg shims currently running just one under the mount. I usually ride with the bars in the forward position ... read something about fast guys running them in the back position ... Oh Boy!! another tweak I can play with!! probably move them back for a few rides just to see ..

I use the Renthal twinwalls in the back mount running the same angle as the fork tubes. Have been very good like this and feels really natural. Just installed an underbar damper and removed the shims for the clamps but the whole kit has still raised the bars a bit. Hoping it still feels alright. I have found having them high and forward feels nice when cruising around, but makes it harder to get right up over them when giving it the berries or climbing gnarly hills. Could be why the quick blokes like them the way they do? The other argument is that having them back and low lets you get right on top of them when sitting in turns for maximuim leverage.
