First, it takes awhile for the GG foam to break in. You have plenty of time on it? If so...Guts has a std seat foam that is much softer than stock. Have your dealer order one up direct, or you can get from Enduro Engineering. I think Budd Matto at Matto Cycles in PA does a seat foam and personalized cover that looks awesome.

The GG 15 seat is a big improvement over the 14, I like it but it's still firm.
Don't waste your money on the Guts std height soft foam after a couple rides your sitting on the seat pan. The Guts std height (not sure which compound I got med or hard) listed as ktm stock firmness works good.
If you can ride with a tall seat(makes me ride like a spud)The Guts soft tall is comfy.

I had heard that too about the std soft so I got the standard...but I never installed the foam after I got it. Still in the bag, along with a EE seat cover, brand new.

Thanks for all the info , I do have 30 hours on the present seat , so just to recap the EE seat is make by Guts and don't get the soft, get the medium it should similar to the standard KTM seat ,or if I can handle the extra 1" seat height get the soft tall . and hey Rod are you interested in selling your cover and standard foam?

Sure...why not. Let me get you a price since I can't remember what I paid, and I'll shoot you a PM. Thanks.

I have the guts tall soft, its the best money I ever spent. The stock seat is instant recipe for monkey butt.

Hey Moto 7 man how tall are you ?

5' 11''. The front on the GG seat near the hump in the gas tank is very thin. The tall guts foam gives you just a little extra padding, the difference is height is barely noticeable.

Do not pass go and do not collect 200 dollars until you send your seat here:

Get the dual sport seat. Most comfortable seat I ever had on a dirt bike. Here is a picture of mine. It's an inch taller and as you can see wider at the butt.
