FSE400 compression test

Hi all, anybody know the compression test figures for the FSE400? Mine won't start and I'm suspecting low compression may be the problem.

My former DRZ 400S should have read about 145 lb, but when it got down to about 40 lb , it quit running. A fresh piston kit made it run like new again.

Your FSE will probably be in the same ball park for compression numbers.

Thank you,

But the engine is equipped with decompressor. So, is value (10 kpa), indicated in manual, with the decompressor working? What I want to say, that before engine is started, decompressor lowers the compression for easier starting. So, is 10 kpa with decompressor lowered compression? Or FSE 400 does not have decompressor at all?
