Does my '07 need that white airfilter restrictor plate thing?
 

Bought as a non running bike with only 80 miles on it. I've got it running and it runs okay despite small bog. Has new injector and air filter as well as the exhaust plug removed.

I'm wondering if this white air filter restrictor thing needs to be in the bike for it to run properly or what the story is with it.

It that still fitted??? It was a pollution compliance part. It should have been thrown out at the pre delivery. What sort of bike is it?

It's a 2007 FSR450.
