There is a thread somewhere that has a Honda Scooter Bendix and a different spring as a replacement that cures the GG estart problems as well.

Yup, the Honda bendix worked for my 2011 EC300, here is the last of 8 short videos showing the bendix working perfectly, courtesy of gasgasrider.org members knowledgebase. My estart works flawlessly now, I just barely bump the button and the engine is running. NEVER had that happen before LOL. Thankyou to all the contributing forum members!!!
