ohwel thanks anyway, thought id ask as there's one on Ebay

Back then, I think the 200/250/300 shared the same pipe, but check the FMF part #s to be sure. Thee is another issue as well. In '03, the motor was rotated down 8mm. The pipe will fit, its been done, may take a little tweaking.

Interestingly - and slightly off topic - a guy I know competed at last years roof of africa on a 2006 ktm200 fitted with a 125 pipe. He works as a bike mechanic for a friend of mine and will ask next time why

dont mined a little playing to get it to fit, long as the bike runs & wont come to harm with it on there im happy & dont mind it little smothered on the top end as its very rare for me to rev the bike high..... just keep it at low revs & use the tourque
thanks everyone |
what about the pipe volume? is there a diffrence? just worried that if i do get it & fit it there might be a problem with gas flow out of the engine
|
I would venture to say that there is a difference in volume, how much ? I have no idea. The pipe I had was definitely a different FMF part number & I suspect that is what 'smothered' the top end a bit. I had no overheating or anything like that although keep in mind I only ran the 200 pipe for a couple of hours.
