Forum running slow/not responding

For the last week or so the site has been real slow to load or will not load at all.
Sometimes it works fine for a couple of minutes then stops responding.?

What time of day do you see this behavior? Is it at night or during the day? Are you seeing an issue this morning? If yes, then it is very fast for me from work right now (the server is at my home with a comcast business connection).

Thanks,
jeff

I haven't had any issues at all.

webmaster 04-02-2015 01:48 PM

I just optimized the database - which should speed things up - but the server is so fast, I don't think you will see much...

If you are accessing from work - they might prioritize traffic so that you will see discussion forums be "mighty slow"...

Still having problems it seems. Could not get on for 4.5 hrs.
No problems with any other websites.

Same problem with my phone and laptop.

webmaster 04-02-2015 05:01 PM

I had it shut down for a bit as I ran optimizations - an hour or so earlier in the day. other than that - the problem is not in the "supply" - it is running "zippy fast"...

On your phone - are you using tapatalk?

It seems like a network problem - your ISP provider. Who supplies your internet service and who is your phone service?

jeff

p.s. It could be that you are bumping into IP addresses that I have banned in the past - blocking hackers is a full time job... Send me a private message and let me know the exact time you are seeing issues and I will check the apache webserver logs to see whats going on...
