2018 XC Bike will not estart or kickstart
 

Here is my bike trying to estart with a 240 CCA battery. CDI has been re flashed, new cables. And sanded all of the grounding points to bare metal. I just put my bike back together after winter maintenance and now it won?t kick start either. I?ve kicked it at least 30 times and getting nothing. The battery never worked but it would always kick in a a couple kicks. The bike hasn?t been started since December until I tried today. Could the kickstart problem be related to the estart problem? Any idea?

Also to add, I did not do anything to the motor besides change the spark plug, and I did not do anything to the carb. I ran the bike dry before storing it

My bikes are always hard to start after sitting around.
This always works for me, lean it over till fuel comes out carb overflow kick it no more than 5 times if it doesn't start tip it over again. Might be that simple?
Your e-start needs a good look over.

I'd change the plug back. New plugs have been known to be duds.

Check for spark.

Yea it was the plug.
But now I have another concern... with the bike running the battery voltage was only at 13. Normally it should read higher than it?d static voltage while it is running. Also, it will not restart with the estart. While riding I would kill it in neutral and immediately press the estart. It would spin and spin and spin but not fire the motor. Could these two problems be related. Stator?
